Travelled to explore South Shields, this apartment was a perfect place for doing it. My time in South Shields was really comfortable because of this place, partly.

The nearest airport is conveniently 14 km away, which was great for my 40-minute taxi ride. The Sage Gateshead is also 14 km from the property, so I got my exercise walking there.

Cityviews provided great value for money with a spacious and clean one-bedroom apartment. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the coast and surrounded by charming pubs and eateries. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when there was initial confusion with the keys.

Hotel breakfast would be improved with clearer instructions on how to use the electric radiators, as it got quite cold being close to the seafront.
